CATS began more than three years ago, arguing for the impeachment and removal of one Barack Obama. Many of us were impressed by evidence of his peculiar rearing and his peculiar beliefs. No one understood. No one wanted to understand.
I am reminded of a scene from a Batman movie in which the Joker floats a huge balloon over the downtown, the balloon spits out one hundred dollar bills, and people swarm under it. The balloon then sprays a lethal green gas that makes a corpse with a huge smile on its dead face.
We have had three years of no budgets, $5 trillion accumulated debt to be repaid by our children, governmental health care, extra-legal appointments, Islamic bias, and harassment from the Department of Justice, EPA, HHS, Homeland Security, and Energy. We have energy reserves for 500 years but Obama’s minions suppress our access to them. Solar and wind energy have been expensive and illusory excuses for paying tribute to the ghost of “global warming” and our rescue of the automobile industry was expensive and counterproductive.
Three years later, ABC tells us during election night that 1) Mitt didn’t “connect” and, 2,) everything is still Bush’s fault. Actually, ABC commentators were merely celebrating their still having jobs.
My own belief is that the “impulsive” – whites, blacks, and Spanish – have lined up behind a convenient leader, a block of voters that regards the productive, the imaginative, the successful as the new chattels, harvested to feed the adult kids in St. Louis, Cleveland, New York, and Philadelphia. “Entitlement” has always been a drug; Bronco Bamma’s only challenge was to recruit enough of the users.
Mark Steyn refers to “individual” secession from the Union … I’ve done it.
Good luck Mr. Issa…
